Drip: Coffee Cone

This method is cheap and easy way to brew coffee because when using it you will need just ground coffee, hot water, a cone and paper filter. Hot water is poured evenly over coffee grounds in a paper filter. With gravity, the brewed coffee drips slowly and directly into a cup or pot.

Tip: Pour hot water to clean filter and make a pre-filter first pouring hot water on coffee wetting it and keep 20 seconds to degas fresh roasted coffee.

Chemex

Chemex is an elegant and delicate designed pour over, glass flask. The main difference between the Drip cone is its design which allows us to get flavored and cleanest brewing.  It uses a special Chemex paper filter that is 20-30% heavier than other filters. Similar to the coffee cone, hot water is poured over coffee grounds in a paper filter.

Tip: Pour hot water to clean filter and make a pre-filter first pouring hot water on coffee wetting it and keep 20 seconds to degas fresh roasted coffee.

French Press

The French Press method is the easiest coffee brew method. It extracts, arguably, more superior flavor than any other method. In a press pot, ground coffee is soaked, steeped and strained in hot water. For people how like luscious, expressive and complex taste experience so brewing it is the best way. The reason is because coffee and water are in contact all time. To prepare a French Press you just need ground coffee and hot water. You will not need use paper filter. French Press coffee maker has included filter easy to clean.

Tip: Don’t exceed suggested brewing time because if it happens you will get strongest flavor caused by high extraction.

AeroPress

The AeroPress is plastic and comes in 3 parts. A filter sits in a coffee basket at the bottom of the brew chamber. Coffee grounds rest in the brew chamber where hot water is added then immerses/steeps the coffee. To extract the coffee, a plunger is pressed down creating air pressure to force brewed coffee through a filter and into a cup. It is the manual way to prepare a good espresso. Why? You will simulate high pressure to brew as espresso coffee machine does.

Tip: Press down hard on the plunger to get the constant rate of pressure.

Percolate: Stovetop Moka Pot

An Italian design the stovetop style coffee makers use steam pressure from boiled water in the lower section to pass through coffee grounds in the mid chamber of the pot. Brewed coffee then sits in the higher chamber. A well designed stovetop pot will created better pressure. The main difference with others is Moka pot is designed to be used on stove. You just have to put water on lower chamber, insert the filter with ground coffee and close it. When water gets boiled the steam pressure get into the filter and you will get brewed coffee preparation on high chamber.
